Our History
Founded by organic farmers, NICS was established to provide organic certification services, supporting processors, handlers, crops, livestock, and wild crop producers across the United States.
Over the years, NICS grew in both scope and reputation, becoming known for its rigorous Organic Certification standards, American Grass Fed Inspections, and Organic Inspector Training.
Acquisition by Ecocert Group
NICS was acquired by Ecocert group, uniting under a shared mission to provide world-class organic certification services and promoting sustainable development and organic practices globally.
Embracing a new phase of development, NICS moved its offices to 210 Airport Road Viroqua, WI.
